This Privacy Policy explains how UzWellness (“we”, “us”), based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use our website and booking services (the “Platform”). It also describes the rights you have over your data.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — name, email address, phone number, and password (stored in hashed form) when you register.
- Booking data — the services you book, travel dates, number of guests, and any preferences or requests you provide.
- Visa-assistance data — where you use this service, identity and travel details such as citizenship, passport number, date of birth, and passport scans you upload.
- Payment data — handled by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers; we receive a confirmation and limited transaction details.
- Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and usage data collected via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
2. How we use your data
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
- To process, confirm, and support your bookings and payments.
- To provide visa assistance and communicate with the relevant authorities and providers.
- To send service messages such as confirmations, changes, and support responses.
- To improve, secure, and operate the Platform and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal bases
Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide bookings you request); your consent (for example, optional marketing or non-essential cookies); our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Platform); and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Who we share data with
- Service providers — the sanatorium, resort, or transport provider you book receives the details needed to deliver your service.
- Payment processors — to take and reconcile payments.
- Government authorities — for visa assistance, and where disclosure is required by law.
- Technology providers — hosting, mapping, and analytics partners who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Your data is processed primarily in Uzbekistan. Where data is transferred to providers in other countries, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Booking and financial records are typically retained for the period required by Uzbek law; account data is retained while your account is active.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures — including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@uzwellness.uz. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.
9. Children
The Platform is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us so we can remove it.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
